Going for a nature walk praying.

Hiking, camping, snow skiing.  I totally sense His presence and His joy.  Those are all spiritual experiences for me.

sometimes I feel the closest to God in simple random things that only mean something to the two of us: a special song, a specific time of day, a peppermint mocha.... :)

:) Good question(s)! There is this one road that I love to drive down there are these huge trees that create a "tunnel" all the way down the road. When the sun shines through it's breath taking. I could just sit there and see God all around me. It reminds me that while God created all things for His pleasure he also created them for me to enjoy...It's God's way of saying to me "Christy I love you enough to plant all these trees here just for you. You're worth it"

I have definitely been on the go the last couple of weeks. It is fun while it lasts, but it is always nice returning home where ever home may be. Right now, home is Bordeaux.

To answer your post's question, there are certain things I see that always cause me to feel close to God and sense Him. They seem to all be related to nature: sunsets, sunrises, vast fields, and great views. These occur spontaneously, but most often (especially when travelling) I just like to contemplate on God, and reflect on His love. It is such a simple act, but it invariably leads me to want to drop on the floor and worship Him as I get overwhelmed by His love for us.
